Femme Fatale rise from the ranks of
Britain most highly rated young underground DJs to a position amongst the best known.
Her success on the airwaves with shows on
Kiss 100 and
Choice FM as well as being the
first female DJ to be invited to play a guest slot on
The Dreem Teem Presents Show.
She has brought her souped-up mixes and dancefloor shaking style to crowds up and down the country, playing raves such as; Glastonbury, Sidewinder,
Sun City, World Dance, Slinky, Peach,
Twice as Nice and securing a
residencies at Freedom, Gas club,
Smoove@Ministry of Sound and Speedfreex in Amsterdam. She has been extremely successful abroad playing sets in Lisbon,
Paris, Milan, Zurich,
Ibiza, Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Amongst this year's highlights have been sets at
Radio 1 on the beach and the
MTV Base residency both in Ayia Napa.
Also under her belt are appearances as the featured DJ in videos for
Zed Bias,
Richie Dan,
Wookie, Middlerow and Ladies First. Press has included features in Seven,
Mixmag, Time Out, Echoes, Sleaze Nation, Company, Deuce, Klub Knowlege, Rewind, Muzik, Ministry and in the April edition of
Esquire she will feature in a piece on the
top Female DJs in the Britian alongside
Lottie,
DJ Rap,
Lisa loud and Smokin Jo.
With such an ability to make an impression on those she plays music to, the move into making music seems an obvious one. Her
first track 'Always and Forever' featuring Dalia will be out on
Middlerow Records in January 2002 and remixes for Aswad and Ladies First will shortly follow.
As if this was not enough 2002 will also see the Launch of her new
Label Fatale Attraction and the beginning of working with Polydor in Club Promotions and A &R. The progress of Femme Fatale shows no sign of slowing and with such energy and talent.
Vector Burn- Tempe, AZ
Technorganic Records/Replicant Audio/Cyanide Recordings/Scientia Recordings/Alloy
From the desolate deserts of the American Southwest. Vector Burn (AKA Oliver Scott) entered
Drum n' Bass as it was just maturing from 'ardkore, and combines influences as diverse as
Konflict,
Vainqeur,
Godflesh,
My Bloody Valentine,
Codeine,
Thomas Koner,
Quicksand,
Final and Scorn to make an intense musical mission.
Vector Burn is a Drum n' Bass project that combines the
agressive impact of the modern dancefloor-oriented styles with an
emotional and
melodic impact. Fusing musicality with
heaviness, his music is
subtle, overt and intensely graphic.
