anything happening on the weekends in B/CS area?

House parties, drunken mayhem on Northgate, and the weekend of around the 23rd we have the North by Northgate music festival.
No one throws parties around here like they used, too.
All the promoters who used to live here have moved on to Dallas and Austin (ie. E-Pro and G3 Entertainment).

I see... well, I spend every weekend in B/CS with my girlfriend and was just wondering what might be happening from time to time. We usually just go to Shadow Canyon, Hurricane Harry's, etc.... keep me posted on such.

You should try Groove. It's a small Posh club one of my friends redesigned and they prefer to play ambient music.
Or there's Mad Hatters. My friend Jeremy works at the bar that is off to the side and hidden. It has a fun atmosphere and they play a lot of old 80s music.
Or if you're in the mood for some beer swilling and pool playing that has an older crowd, check out Duddley's Draw.
Or there's Concepts if you want to hear some hip hop with an occassional techno tune thrown in.
And there's a new club fixing to open up there. I'll post the info once it opens up. My old boss decided to buy THe old Rack and turn it into a club.
