Finding out the boyfriends dog, of 12 years, has cancer.
And he's too old to fight through chemo, so they will euthanize him.
:(

dog cancer always sucks. My old dog had bone cancer, we had a front leg amputated to hopefully get rid of it. Still spread, had to put her down within a year. :(

Indeed.

One of the family dogs, a Boxer had to be put down last year because of cancer. My mom took it especially hard.

Would have been nice if they had told me before I visited and was like "Where's the big dog?" Kind of an uncomfortable moment.....

Sorry to hear that. We had a Boxer that the owners brought in for a little over a year every week for Chemo. The last time I saw him, he couldn't walk or eat.

As soon as we put the dog down the owner of the vet clinic (my boss) went out and searched for people giving away Boxer puppies. She found one that looked exactly like the him and gave it to the owners. They were so happy, they brought him in everyday to thank my boss.

^^ that's really sweet.

My dog I had since 3rd grade had to be put to sleep because of a growing tumor in her head. I had asked my mom when I moved to Austin, not to tell me when she died...she told me the day it happend.

This movie was a billion times better than i thought it would be. I'd have to say I enjoyed it more than 90% of what i've watched so far this year.

Can someone tell me what the fuck Jack Johnson is doing to get headlining spots on this years festival circuit?!?!?

The line up isn't too shabby, actually, but I wanted some Plant with some Page. Instead I got Krauss.

Little hypocritical of a hill billy to say someone else has been living in a hole. I love dancing, pretty much any kind (save line dancing), so I have gotten down to some country before. Do I own a single country album? Do I attend country bars on a regular basis? No and fuck no.
