Well her self esteem isnt the greatest, but when a guy like myself, who has an overwhelmingly large self esteem... is constantly sending you compliments and letting you know how large and great the impact youve had on my life was... then maybe you should take a hint

i have really, really low self esteem and no matter what anyone says i dont do well with compliments. its an internal thing. if she questions why anyone would like her then let her do it. no amount of compliments is going to change someone over night especially when they've had low self esteem for a while. believe me, i know.

it's actually rude when someone says, "no one likes me," when many people do. I'd take it as an insult.

no don't let her do it. it does nothing but feed her low self esteem. I used to have an extremely low self esteem but it's progressively gotten better. Now when given a compliment I can take it and appreciate it and say thank you instead of shut up. I'm not sure if it comes with growing up or just feeling better about yourself.

Remind her that you do think the world over and there's absolutely no reason for her to think otherwise. Don't snap, you'll make her cry and then all sorts of other girly emotions will just start flowing and that's never good.
