Early saturday morning my contact fell out at my buddies house, so I had to use his solution and such to clean it out. This guy still uses the hydrogen peroxide in his contact solution, but didn't have the red cap on the bottle to warn me it wasn't supposed to go into my eye.

So I rinsed and cleaned my lens with it, then filled it up with fluid and put it in my eye. It was like sticking hot poker in my eye, took about 30 seconds to get it out. My eye was almost instantly swollen shut, began to get very pussy, and of course hurt like a summumabitch.

Since then I've had to go in and have my eye cleaned twice using a suction cup with an IV line running through it into my eye socket. It takes about an hour each time, total torture. They also gave me a bottle of hydrocodone which I'm too weary of to enjoy on my week off.

So i'm stuck at home, just me and my eye-patch. Yarrrr!

I've had that happen once. Was hung over and contact was bothering the shit out of me. Found the first thing of solution and didn't see the red cap. Rinsed it and put it right in my eye. I nearly woke up my Ex in her bed trying not to scream so loud. I wasn't hung over after that.

so you found a new cure for a hangover.. might have to try that one out..

If someone told me I could take 2 days off work and lay on the couch watching star trek reruns in the dark eating painkillers, but I had to douse my eye with hydrogen peroxide, I would tell them to go fuck themselves. It's not worth it.

And I really enjoy pain killers and star trek.
