Therefore I'm thinking my apt might have a ghost in it.

a) recently my dog will not go in a certain area, outside my apt building. He used to piss and shit all over the area and now won't go near it.

b) Friday night, while trying to sleep, I heard what sounds like a coin drop/spinning on a counter, in my room, [door closed]. I get up, turn on the light, check my dresser, no coins whatsoever.

c) Monday, left for work and specifically remember turning off my bedroom light. Malu wakes up, door shut, light on.

d) Come home for lunch, to check the light situation. Light switch on, but light off [fan/light combo].

e) Walk out to go back to work, but of course, I forgot something. I hadn't even locked the door yet, but I can hear stu stu barking and the UNLOCKED door is stuck. 5 seconds later, i'm able to open it.

What the fuck.


Where can I find out if anything happened at my apts?
Sites? Anything?
And if I ask my apt office, do they have to tell me?

i don't know about apts but i do know if you're buying a house they have to tell you if someone died there.

otherwise you can be all cool like the ghost movies and sift through microfiche at the library til you come across something.

google your complex's addy, go through whatever comes up....if that fails go to the library downtown and ask about looking up newspaper articles based on your complex's address.

when I lived off 38th I was convinced the place was haunted. Neither me nor my gf smoked, neither did any of our neighbors, sometimes the bathroom would just start wreaking of cigarettes, like to the point I'd be coughing and choking on it. I'd come home or walk into the kitchen to find ALL the cabinet doors wide open. Close them, watch them for 30 minutes, walk out of room and come back a few minutes later they're all open again. I'd set something on our dinner table, come back and find it on the other side of the table or on the floor on the other side of the room. On top of all that I always felt like there was someone there, even when my gf and dog were gone I felt like I was being watched. spooky.

Creeeeeeepy. I totally believe in ghosts. When I was a kid, I swore I used to see some weird black shadow at night. I would be lying in bed and it felt like something was sitting on the foot of my bed. I asked my Mom about it later on, and she said there had been a lady that killed herself. But that doesn't really make sense either, because once we moved to Germany, I saw the same thing.
