I've been in spots where I've held many vics and xanax at a time without taking them, ended up just giving them to random friends.

I was popping 4-6 a day, the weekend I popped that many every few hours

(not really proud of this at all)

i had knew a dude that was selling oxy and a dude who was buying a whole lot of it from him, leaving me the middle man and getting free pills left and right.

i was snorting probably 80mg/day total (maybe more when hanging out w/friends) for like 6 weeks. once the supply dried up i stopped cold turkey, didn't switch to vicos or darvos or anything for the opiate fix. no withdrawl symptoms at all. this far in my life i've amazed myself by doing lots of dumb drugs with no addictions to speak of so far (except nicotine really).

nodding off on the sofa can be fun from time to time but for the most part i got the binge out of my system.

When I was 19 [before I realized the ridiculousness that came with partying with pills] I snorted half of an oxy [have no idea the mg] and puked it back up.

It has never touched my system again.

yeah its one of the few drugs that made me puke on the regular (after hitting a certain mg)

one of the dumber things i did was trying to avoid nodding off after puking by doing a bunch of blow.

i mean it was a great feeling but dumb as shit.

its not the smartest idea mixing those two.

that was the first and only time I had ever been addicted to anything (other than fapping). It wasn't too bad, I just couldn't sleep for a few days and was cranky and twitchy the whole time...after like day 2 I realized what it was and found a couple more pills to ween myself off it (i.e. taking a half dose every 8-12 hours or right before I'd sleep so i could).

my grandma actually fell in the same trap as a lot of people with the rx drugs. had a bit of a benzo habit and a bit of a opiate habit that was basically imposed by her drs. luckily she got around it before it god bad. i've seen it happen to quite a few people, but the drs gotta get paid and thats all they really care about.

I just think that's how they cured anything back then.

Fill 'em with tranquilizers.

ding ding. 90% of the time if you want the hook up with any specific drug just walk into your doc's office and tell them you have the symptoms (find them out on the internet) for the disease/illness that the specific drug "treats". most of the time they'll write you the rx just to get you out of their way.

adderall and xanax are the best examples of that.

i know a few people who have scripts of both with unlimited refills. i'm no dr, but that makes no sense to me.

That's why i asked what the thread was about. I can tell what we're talking about, but how did we get there?

When I was on Oxy/Fentanyl I used to make 1-2 trips to the border each week to support my habit. I had to pick up 4 scripts of 60 80mg oxy's at a time, usually selling them for 4x what I paid for them, and I still couldn't afford the 320-400mg i needed each day. This was about a solid year after i started using 5mg percs to make it easier to stop smoking weed.

I once sold them to a dude who had an adverse reaction when the oxy interacted with his allergy meds and left him unconscious for a week. It didn't stop him from buying more, though.

Eventually you realize narcotics cost too much and you just start buying tar. 3 years later, you're still trying to repair the damage you've done to your head.

Taking a simple narcotic, even vics, usually results in mild withdrawel symptoms. A lot of times people don't associate their boredom, inability to fall right to sleep, and slight decrease in mood set point as symptoms, but they're there. just cause your muscles and joints aren't on fire and you're not sweating cold bullets doesn't mean you aren't withdrawing.
