nah.. works like so..

I got into my wreck, insurance company sends me to a hack shop, i decline, and choose my own shop. Insurance company drags feet in getting it reassesed, takes them over a week before they let me released my truck to my shop of choice. My shop of choice can't take truck now because insureance company dragged feet and my window to dropped it off closed. Instead, we ordered all the parts needed. A week later, get truck to shop, tear it down, realize the frame is slightly bent. have to move truck from said shop to a frame shop with a state of the art frame rack.. lasers and some shit. that takes a week or so. now truck is 100% with in spec, and its back at the body shop. they are in the process of replacing and shaving tailgate, most of my front end, shaving my doors, repairing some cracked plastic molding and repainting about 80% of it.

I've got a rental, that the other person is paying for, and I've already settled with the insurance company and I'm happy with the out come.. So while it sucks, and I hate it, I personally am "ok" even after getting hit a 40 something mph and everything is getting fixed the way its supposed to sooo its ok. Im just tired of pimping my middle class, cheap office exec, mid grade saturn..

That's all you had to say.

I still stand by my statement. What insurance company are you dealing with? The other guy's right? (Send it in a PM if you'd like) You have a right under some code to file a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance.

Not that it really matters at this point, but if something like this happens again (or to anyone who reads this), file with your insurance company first and let them subrogate with the other company. Your insurance company won't (shouldn't) take their sweet ass time making sure you get your vehicle back like it was before the accident. Plus you'll get your deductible back after they get reimbursed by the at-fault party's Company.

Your daily insurance tip.

yes BUT...If you're taken to the hospital and want to the perso at fault to pay for it, yet still put it under your own health insurance the claim could later be denied (and most likely will) if they don't pay and you try to resubmit the claim with your own insurance.

I'm with USAA and she was with USAA so USAA tried to make file everything on my claim.. lets just say it got really ugly. The agent I was working with, I had pulled off the case and got legal advice so it worked out. Honestly, worked out pretty well once I let them know I wasn't fucking around. I haven't paid a cent on anything. No deductable, no nothing. So im all gravy.

You should know better than to use a flash drive for backup storage. They're highly corruptable and should only be used for transporting information between systems.

Well luckily I still have most the of the stuff I had on my computer. I've had the thing for a year. Still makes me mad. The biggest thing I lost was a bunch of photos.

I have a head cold like a SOB. I'm all stuffed up and my sinuses hurt. Drinking lots of Vitamin C and water. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.

Thinking that just because you won a damn game, it's ok to take a shot of whiskey again, and again, and again.
