When I sent my box in for repair, they simply sent me a replacement unit. Came with an entirely new serial number and extened my warranty another year from the mail-in date -- we had like 2 or 3 months left on the initial warranty.

Kinna sucks losing signatures and artwork on your box, regardless of the situation.

Having experience in a call center and a tech shop, as soon as I read that he only put one copy of the letter in the box, I knew he was screwed. I would have put and entire ream in there. Plus, I would have used it as the packaging.

Oh wait, don't they send you a box? I guess you could still fit a few copies of the letter in there.

I sense sarcasm.

Negative, Ghost Rider. I am absolutely serious. If you want to be absolutely positive that someone handling your goods sees an important message like that, one copy doesn't cut. You have to make it an annoyance.

I would be upset about the art work but come on. Who wants "a number of signatures from notable members of the gaming community" ?

geek.

100% agree here.

According to Freud, every dream is the fulfillment of a wish. However this appears to be overstating the case; nightmares are an obvious counter example. Stephen LaBerg, and Howard Rheingold.
