well..FOB is anyways.

she accepted a position w/ a company in Austin a week or so ago. Since then she's become a little freaked out by it because her manager at the new place creeps her out and it's looking like she'd be building her dept from the ground up, by herself...so basically being a slave to the job. But she hates where she works now, wants out of SA with the quickness and it was a decent bump in pay.

Last week she interviewed @ Dell for the same position, as always she wowed the interviewers (she's top of the food chain in her field). They just sent her an offer letter...basically a 55% increase in pay over her current salary w/ a 12% signing bonus. MAD LOOT!

She makes a lot more money than I do now....maybe I can quit my job and become a kept man? either way I'm really proud of her.

OH MY FREAKING GOD! I cannot believe my stroke of good luck. I've got my reservations about working in a larger corp....and I really liked the idea of working at Whole Foods....

me thinks you don't understand what internal audit does...they audit you, i.e. they find the things you do wrong and get you fired haha.

Actually, at Dell it is a conjoined effort between HR and my direct management in order to decide whether or not the audit flag is a fireable offense. Plus it'd be really hard to give a fair audit when half our shit is busted anyway. Additionally, she may be an internal auditor, but what or who exactly is she auditing? Sales? Finance? Manufacturing? Marketing? Testing? Management? Lastly, Auditors don't threaten me when I know I'm doing my job accurately.

In any case, I hope she enjoys the job. It is Dell afterall.

ps. Auditors have their own Quality reps to ensure they're also doing their job properly.

i guess someone has to do that job. They're a better person than I as I would be terribly bored and probably die if I had to audit people all...day....long.

if we get 2 errors of the same kind we get written up. 2 write ups =termination.

what do you do?

ER registration=register pt's, verify Iplans, obtain consents for treatment, collect copays, deductibles, obtain ABN's and advanced directives on old folks that are about to kick it and do tech stuff (ekg's, iv's, splints, wraps and regular patient care)
