I watched the first few episodes from the new season last night while I was trying to fall asleep. This show has gotten way too depressing. The newest episode is a 30 minute expose on the death of "Carlos." The camera follows him around as he slowly dies of an infection in a wound on his face.

No, he got bit on the face by another meerkat. His claim to fame on the show has been roving around knocking up females from rival gangs.

Saddest episode ever. I can't believe how huge that little meerkats head got.

i was skeptical about this show, then i watched it. its pretty decent.

Man, I couldn't imagine having to deal with a house full of small children who had been following the show from the beginning. I'm sure her death was exceptionally traumatic because of the the disfigurement.

Naming animals always raises the emotional stakes, but adding the special camera work, increasing the characterization in the soap operatic overlay and not flinching from the nature of the animals' short and brutal life cycle apparently pushed many viewers over the top.

len and squiggy got dealt with. that was the episode i watched. very nice.

I suppose you've all heard that Flower (leader of the Whiskers) died recently?
