I love Steely Dan. I started throwing it in regular rotation a few years ago and now it's a staple in my musical diet. It's funny, if I had tried listening to Steely Dan when I was a teenager, I never would have let myself enjoy it.

It makes for great driving music, always puts me at ease and in a good mood.

i got to hang out with michael mcdonald (post do it again era) at his studio in nashville for a month, i guess you could say i was interning, but mainly i sat there with his engineer and learned techniques of recording, not to mention get some musical advice from the man himself. he's a really fuckin cool guy
