That video gave me chills watching it. Being that I'm into all types of religion, and most definitly Astrology, it makes me wonder why I've never thought of this...I guess christianity has always been so pushed that I've just steered clear of learning, or caring too much about that particular belief.

Very enlightening, thank you!

It's stuff like this that has caused me to resort to spirtuality rather than align myself with any religion. I was raised Catholic and miss the sense of comfort I felt when I attended mass but I think if I were to go back, I would get a cultish feeling. The documentary, Deliver Us From Evil, was what completely turned me off about Catholicism. I can't look at the pope without wondering how many little boys he molested.

Nice sig by the way.

Wow that video was the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever seen. They got the whole myth of Horus, Attis, Krishna, Dionysus and all the others all wrong.

Horus was the sky God at first. Ever heard of Ra? yeah he was the sun god, Horus became associated with Ra as the temple used the gods to over throw the lineage of pharaohs. He was not born of a virgin.

Krishna's birthday is not dec 25th, its July 19th. He was not born of a virgin but he was the eight son of princess Devaki, and her husband Vasudeva.

Attis was born because Agdistis was born a hermaphrodite and the other gods feared it and cut the penis off. It turned into a tree and when Nana the daughter of the river god ate the fruit she became pregnant. So Attis is the son of Adigists and Nana. When Attis was resurrected he was resurrected as a pine tree not a person or a god.

Dionysus was the god of wine of course he turned water into wine. Thats what he did. He was the son of Zeus and Semele not born of a virgin. He was not referred to as the King of Kings, that was his father Zeus. He was not "gods only begotten son" Zeus had dozens of kids.

Also Crucifixion does not mean put on a cross like most think. In the Greek language crucifixion means a painful death. In ancient times it was impaling not being nailed or tied to wooden crossbeams.

Next Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. They estimate it was closer to the beginning of summer, but like all other Christian holidays they just took a day that was a popular pagan holiday.

Next they don't know how many kings visited Jesus there is just assumed that there where three because there where three gifts.

There are so many holes in this guys little video that the rest doesn't matter to me. If he wants to go around saying this then fine. But he is making up half of it and the other half is based on bad surface research.

Oh yeah and as Eli pointed out Set was not the god of the underworld that was Osiris/Thoth/Annubis. Set was the god of the dessert and he and Horus fought as an analogy of the flooding of the Nile.

ok last post on this. I found nothing on referring to Orions belt as the three kings. In Egyptology it was call Osiris Belt. Also to note there is nothing in Astronomy that goes with the theory that those three stars aligned with any stars around that time. I fact the "star in the east" is believed to be the alignment of several planets.

I did not know this clip came from a full-length film. Polymer told me about it. It's called Zeitgeist.

Well given the gross misinformation that the clip gave I wouldn't take anything that this movie said seriously. It sounds about as accurate and as the Da Vinci code.

The DaVinci Code has been classified under fiction since it came out.

Anyone who thought there was any truth to that book is a moron.

It's called "fiction" for a reason.
