pushing the envelope? How bout just blowing it away, I've ate 10strips before that didn't even compare to the intensity of salvia. I was stuck in a bathroom staring at a broken beer bottle thinking i had left the bathroom walked around the club for 10 minutes, talked to people, and never really left the bathroom. Then i had this crazy thought that all of reality was being rolled up like a carpet and that if didn't reach out for the door i'd be rolled up in it. Which as "reality" rolled up on me i could feel myself suffocate from "rolled" up. Yes. . I do recommend you have supervision around cuz its hairy stuff. Thanks Aaron. Religous experience it could be, it causes some amazingly believable delusions that is for sure.

90% of my friends who have done it have freaked out on it... to the point that im really glad there was someone else with them when it happened... ive never gotten outta control but ive also never been in a situation where i could allow myself to escape completely... ive always had company over at my place ive needed to entertain, or ive been in someone elses place where i couldnt totally let loose... its just a mental block for me... i wont allow myself to lose that much control...

seeing one of your best friends roll around on the ground and scream out "oh god, get them off" can really set you straight... i havent touched the stuff since then

i do however encourage people to reach out and test new things... but in a comfortable and safe enviroment... and i really frown on pushing the envelope too much... ive seen too many good times gone bad, and lots of shitstorms happen because of that shit...

I've done salvia 15x one time. This was prior to learning all about it (stupid I know, but thats what I get for trusting people) and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I had many of the same symptoms as others here. I couldn't tell if I was sitting or standing, vision was pretty much indescribable- but present, I began to freak out but then I recognized myself as just...conscious mental energy, i guess. When it was over, a few minutes later, i felt I'd had an out of body experience. I actually just finished a book on OBE's today and there are amazing similarities. I'm not saying for certain I had an OBE experience but it seems to fit that catagory well imo.
I believe that it is possible for our astral bodies to temporarily escape from our physical bodies, but the only things I've read have been on inducing such things through meditation, etc. I also believe that one's believe system is a major contributer to what you may see while 'out' of the body. If there is a lot of fear in your believe system (demons, devils, evil, etc) then you are more likely to encounter such things.
With salvia, it felt more like I was kicked out of my body. I don't know if that's because its a drug, or because I wasn't prepared for something that I took pretty seriously.
Either way, I probably try it again some day, in the proper setting and mind frame.

my girlfriend (that guest talking about the 15x) and i tried a 15x and a 20x in one night cause my lil bros friend had just got it and wanted to test it out. My expieriences prior to that with salvia were based on a 5x... needless to say this time was a bit intense. I had no idea what was going on for about 10 minutes, i was totally confused and couldn't stop tipping over. I felt like i was in a barrel rolling down a extremely steep hill. they kept telling me to rip it again, i was trying to say nah man you try it... but i guess all that came out was jibberish. Crazy shit but i agree with whoever said it earlier in the post.. you need to be in a place you are really comfortable to enjoy it.

first time we smoked it, we smoked some extract, not sure if it was 5x or more, but after 30 seconds, i warped inno a land of a giant. kidna like jack and the beanstalk. all my friends tunred into fruits and vegetables, and i was walking thru grass that was taller than me in some area, and i came across a huge chair, probably 75 feel tall from my current perspective at that time. it was super cool, almost like i was in honey i shrunk the kids, but not as gay.

the last time I used some salvia was over 2 years cause it scared me. i had done it a few times before but this time my friend didn't tell me it was the 10x. i got a good lung full, he turned off the light and left the room. he had left a candle burning in the middle of the room. as soon as i took the hit, i laid back. a huge rush came over my body and i could see myself floating up near the top of the ceiling. as i was looking down at the door, i could see my friend and my girlfriend through the door. she was yelling at him to let me out and he was trying to calm her saying that it had to happen this way. when i looked back up, which i guess was at the sky cause i was inbetween the ceiling at that point, i saw several sets of red eyes staring at me. i then got scared, opened my eyes, and sat up. with the light shining through the window shade fro outside, all i saw on the floor was holes everywhere. i slowly tried making my way to the door, crawling, and saw something covering something else. i slowly pulled this "thing", which later turned out to be his coat. and there was nothing under it. i stood up to run out of the room. as soon as i opened the door, the light from the living room made me think that whoever was holding me or whatever was in there so i tried running into the bathroom to get away. as soon as i turned into the bathroom, the sound of the running toilet water, basically, knocked me back to reality. i slowly turned the corner to go into the living room, sat down across from my friend and put my head in my hands. i was sitting there waiting on my friend or girlfriend to ask me if i was ok and where i had been, thinking i had been somewhere totally different. i then stood up and went outside to smoke a cigarette. no shoes, short sleeve shirt and about 10 degrees. it took me a good 20-30 min. to get my bearings back after that.

that was some experience.

Few years ago I got ahold of some 5x from a shop and went camping. We were sitting around a camp fire when I hit it. It was dark and everything seemed to get even darker. The only thing I could see was the people's faces sitting around the fire. I couldnt see the fire, just some light coming from it. I felt like there was something REALLY important I was supposed to take care of but I couldnt ever figure out what it was.

Pretty interesting stuff. Makes the world around me disappear for about 10 minutes. Never had any bad experiences, but probably wont do it again. I dont really enjoy smoking anything other than cigarettes.

Two years ago, in ceremonial style.. with a bong.. in total darkness. Two bowls - constant inhale/exhale of smoke. Only tried this once, as I feel it showed me what it was about and I was content:

onset - very invisible feeling. Like was not even there. Depth perception fucked.

It hits hard - the whole floor before me turns into a spiral galaxy (something I LATER read happens to a lot of people) and there is a presence that is beckoning me. Saying something like, 'come play' or 'jump in'. I remember interpretting this at the time as my own fear of letting go into the experience, and jumping into the spiral floor.

Then, I don't really remember what happened to the spiral, but I seriously LEFT the ground and was with this being that was talking to me earlier as I accelerated into the sky. Shit you not, it was very real., and I could see everything perfectly Then I realized I was tripping and I was instantly aware of sitting in my bed again.

The rest of the experience, in it's short duration, was pleasant. For quite awhile after, I was pretty inspired by the experience. Salvia, if treated properly can be very psychedelic. It must be treated with an enormous amount of respect though, IMO. Salvia is a very pure experience as the patterns of energy that the plant hold have not been exploited by mass consciousness yet. Poor Mary... her spirit is spread so thin, and she is cheated and absued. Oh well.. I still love her!

My brother has been big with experimenting, and both times that he's done Salvia he totally flipped out and started running around and saying lots of crazy shit. After coming down both times he was very freaked out, and from the way it sounded, scared. I've been quite aware of his drug habits for a while, and this was the first time I've seen him go that crazy. Afterwards he pretty much swore off Salvia forever. I'm very happy for him. I never want to see him like that again.
