I am convinced this is the way to solve world food shortages for developing countries. I think a good mix of aeroponics, hydro, as well as general farming can virtually eliminate food shortages, and possibly become a viable source of income for the people that are using them. You can better anticipate shortages and cut grow cycles as well as disease out of the equation.

I guess you have to create a scenario that is win win for the people and rulers. The rest would be handled through U.N. Start with the rulers that are open to aid, then I think the rest would fall fairly easy. This also could aid in issues such as desolate refugee camps, all kinds of environmental applications. If you could feed all of North Korea, you might win a few souls/minds. Not to mention the wonders it could do in Africa. Peace keeping forces could act as the go between.

Carry it out through the global food bank. Make it as neutral as possible. You can't carry out something like this in a warring nation. But it could possibly start to reshape societies who are willing to accept it. Making them alot more attractive and lucrative than the parts that were at war. I do not think you should take a few failed efforts and just give up. There is always roll over in life. Eventually, the right time will come. Oh most important, put scientists in charge not politicians. You could have a team of world super growers watch over the progress.
