Rick Sciaraffa, long time owner of The White Rabbit , has passed away early this afternoon. He will be honored and remembered for his role in the San Antonio music scene forever. He not only gave bands a great venue to showcase their talent but a friendship full of guidance that will be unsurpassed. We will always remember Rick for living each day to its fullest.
There will be a rosary held Friday evening(details TBA).
Saturday, May 12th, 2007 from 2-4pm, there will be a viewing at The White Rabbit. Immediately after, there will be a grave side service at The Holy Cross cemetery located at 1604 and Nacogdoches Rd.
Following that, The White Rabbit will host a celebration of Rick's life. Please feel free to come share your memories and pay respect to our lost friend.

damn the white rabbit used to be the spot to be at when i was in 9th/10th grade. haven't been there in a few years but that sucks, rick was a cool guy.


how'd he die?

Lotsa good memories from my high school years @ T3h Whabbit. I remember seeing him when he wasn't so gray and thinking he was a dead ringer for Weird Al. I was amazed when I found out he was a lawyer.

Sad day.....

I've been quite a few times, cool little place. I never met Rick though. So sad, and he looks fairly young. Or is this an older pic? I send my condolences to anyone who knew him.
