So I read the following link and was stunned.

I have never thought about this before and didn't even comprehend that different people use different methods. Some of the methods described on here are joking, and some sound remotely normal, and some I can't tell if its a joke or serious.

What do you consider to be the proper method?

The method that leaves the area relatively spot-less. Just took my morning dump -- 3 front to back, 3 back to front, alternating with the final wipe as "verification" of a job well-done. :pirate:

I typically let it air dry, unless I'm in a hurry.


Then I just drag my ass across the carpet.
