re-read the article . differentiate between his quotes (which are his exact words) and the writer's interpretation of them.



his quotes from this article do not say he wants our troops to be a mainstay. his quotes say that he believes our troops will be there for a long time and the withdrawal timetable created by some democrats is dangerous (I assume because it's a rather rapid withdrawal).



I'm not sure how I vote matters in regards to your post being misleading, but no. I don't vote republican or democrat. I vote for who I think has the best stance (IMO) in the issues at hand.

As do I. And how EVERYONE should vote. I get so pissed off when I hear people say they vote a certain way because that's how their parents vote.
