This is ricockulous. I cant believe most of you idiots care about a penis looking nicer or being more easily hygienic. First, I agree: Guys, just wash ur penis, and dont be so fucking lazy. Second.. Female circumcision is usually bad because it's forced on a woman. But there are a LOT of women in the US who do it voluntarily because then they can get off just wearing pants.

Well female circumcision is different.. I think you're talking about a Clitoridectomy, which is the removal of the entire clitoris. I guess I sorta was too when i said it was forced on woman. most cultures that do genital mutilation will remove the clit or otherwise mar it so it's basically useless..

Ok, I can see your point... baby boys don't have a choice in the matter. But then again, babies don't have a choice in what they eat or wear either, so that's also forced on them by their parents, aka legal guardians, aka owners, aka decision makers.

Female circumcision, when done in certain cultures, is *violently* forced on woman, and *not* just babies. Note that I said certain cultures. Many do it for religious reasons, like a rite of passage. There are some that do it to control her sexuality. And so on, and so forth. It's also done in many cultures voluntarily (or at least, not violently.. if not voluntarily).

Another point I'd like to make is there is a difference between genital mutilation and genital cutting. Some argue with me and say it's all the same, but it's not. If it's voluntary or done as an agreed upon religious or societal rite, it's generally considered cutting. When done violently and involuntarily, it's considered mutilation.
The same argument could be placed on body modifications like brands. Some people willingly get brands, but say in times when slavery was prevalent it was done involuntarily, and was at times considered mutilation. Then again, my grandmother calls my modifications mutilation anyway. *sigh*
