Why do people make such a big deal about whacking off the foreskin? Why do women go so nuts about it? And why the hell is it considered 'genital mutilation'?!

i'm cut. supposedly its cleaner cause bacteria and shit can get up under the foreskin and cause an infection if you're uncircumsized. don't really know though, haven't done too much research.

the hygiene/bacteria thing is pure bullshit. it's only an issue if you're a dirty motherfucker who doesn't wash his junk properly.

BTW I'm cut. When I have sons I'm conflicted about what to do. On one hand I wish my rents hadn't had me clipped so I had the choice (I would have chosen not to be)...but on the other the few friends I've had that had the procedure done later in life have said it was the most painful recovery they've ever experienced...I dunno if I'd want my kid to have to go through that if they decided they wanted a vader helmet

My boyfriend told me recently that he wasn't snipped until he was a teenager. I didn't ask why (the context surrounding it made for much more interesting conversation than reasons why..) but as a result he's less sensitive than most guys. i've heard it is a very painful recovery, but I suppose prince alberts and such are also very painful in that regard.

If I have kids (which I hope never happens) then yeah, I'd have the boy snipped up nice. If nothing else, I think it's prettier. Nothing more unfortunate than a man with an ugly wang!

I don't get the mutilation part of it. In a blog entry from a friend (which sparked my interest) there was a reply from what I assumed was a man.. turned out to be a girl. A twat, really. But she went on and on about how genital mutilation is genital mutilation no matter how you slice it (pun intended) and how circumcision can be likened to the removal of the clitoris.

Speaking as a member of the uncircumcised commmunity, there's nothing wrong with us. The foreskin allows us to be more sensitive to touch so our climaxes are heavenly.
