I know there are a lot of you in Dallas that love it and play it. Just curious if there are any DJ's here in Austin other than Cody Haynes, Merrick Brown, and myself who play or produce Grime, Eskibeat, Dubstep or Sublow?

i vote for too many fecking sub-sub-divisional-classifications of dance music.

we're being micro-genre'd to death. :(

The best resource I have found online for dubstep/grime mixes:
http://dubstep.blogspot.com/2005/07/mixes.html

Also, RinsFM http://www.rinsefm.com/ has live broadcasts all week long.

Most of the shows from Rinse FM are good because they showcase the newest tunes, but as far as good mixing, look at the ones near the bottom of the page since they are studio mixes.

My fave mixes on this page are the ones by these artists:
Plasticman, Search & Destroy, Vex'd, N-Type, Skream, DJ Distance, Digital Mystikz

He is only 22 years old and had no idea who Richie Hawtin was until after he had a few tunes already signed.

wow, so this thread really took an odd turn.

so yeah, the name thing kinda threw me off as well...but listen to his tunes and it doesn't really matter what his moniker is, his tunes are wicked!!
