To me, mixing them degrades the experience I get from each. Plus, tobacco is evil, and I hope to quit someday.

i regularly mix a small amount of tobacco with my grass when rolling js (and only js, not in the bong or pipe); i find that the tobacco allows the j to burn more evenly. the smoke is also, in my opinion, more pleasant, smoother, and the high is more enjoyable (somewhat stimulating, actually). it also makes the smoke smell less conspicuous to passerbyers.... although, this is only personal preference and opinion; i have noticed that most people (at least in TX) find this unpleasurable...

if you can imagine it pretty much everyone across the atlantic views the way we smoke pot as the total crackhead way of doing it. like in reefer madness where they show some guy hitting a joint in a ridiculously fast manner. it's like typical american gluttony to them.

I don't think it offends them or anything, but some probably see it as silly or dumb. just like i think smoking dank with tobacco is sacrilege. but it fits with the cultures. americans are in to getting things fast and we're all mad for consumption right?

tobacco extends the life of the whole ordeal, making for a more communal and social vibe. it also spreads the wealth if you will, allowing more people to share in. doesn't seem too american now if you think about it. almost like we're more concerned with just getting fucked up. damn shame i don't smoke tobacco.
