Cave Djs Austin/Detroit presents: Gigolo Session
An evening with the Dirty Criminals. Organized Confusion record release party. Out now on International Deejay Gigolo. Rare North American performance.

Traxx (aka Dirty Criminals) Chicago - International Deejay Gigolo.
Traxx is a musician like no other. Not content to be
labeled as merely a DJ, a producer, or even a
DJ/Producer, Traxx is a lover of music-one with a
passion so intense that it overcomes genre divides to
weave an altogether original, exciting, and
multi-textured musical fabric which envelops both the
avid clubber and the home listener, as well as
everyone in between.

For Traxx, the future of dance music rests in the
hands of those who seek to expand its boundaries while
preserving its past and educating its devotees. As a
self-described "artist of sound," Traxx morphs musical
compositions into distinctive, highly emotional
interpretations-he is, indeed, an innovator, and one
who reshapes music into a progressive,
forward-thinking document which defies classification
and invites analysis and discussion. From eclectic and
avant-garde tunes to old school jack tracks and lounge
grooves, Traxx hears it all without discrimination,
pretension or elitism.

He has adapted to a rare role as a worldy,
jet set musical ambassador and an undisputed
underground hero. So far, he has maintained a
level-headed and humble presence at home in Chicago,
despite his increasingly high-profile status in
Europe. Sharing the decks with notable electronic
music figures (from distinguished producers and DJs in
Detroit like Jeff Mills, DJ Rolando of Underground
Resistance and Carl Craig to tastemaking musicians in
Europe like the International Deejay Gigolos stable)
and DJing for some of popular music's biggest stars
(name dropping isn't exactly his game, but do ask
about the time he toured with Radiohead and played for
Prince) is definitely something Traxx takes in stride,
and through it all, he remains dedicated to his
exploration and presentation of music.

With three projects under his belt already with
partner Deecoy they are currently signed with DJ
Hell's International Deejay Gigolo Records. ForGigolo,Traxx,Deecoy and Hieroglyphic Being has
contributed a Full Length album,entitled
The Dirty Criminals "Organized Confuzion".
the material presented relives the simple based synth
and prototypical rhythm manifested from the early age
of electronic dance.the members of this cult are
expressing pre emerged experiences which have
originated from many different genres that include:
EBM(electronic body music)
DIRTY BEAT TRACKS~chicago(Muzik Box,Reactor)
INDUSTRIAL(raw sounds with crazy noise & vocals)
in between the confuzion of kaos is a subliminal
message about the truth of lost energy for chicago &
detroit musicians that has been extinct for 10 years.
their mission is to re-introduce the old way of
producing jack-style tracks in a nu-style concept
using all live based programming and no sampling.

He's rocked the decks at noted festivals, including
Berlin's infamous Love Parade, DEMF in Detroit (in
2002, he was honored with "Best Set" by the Detroit
Free Press), the WMC in Miami,
The PS1/MoMa 2003 New York City,
