anyone have an idea how long a set of 1200s can last? Can anyone recomend some general maintence advice? Cleaning, and things to look for?

you have to oil the motor like every 5 years.. or something like that. It says in the manual.. other than that keep the dust covers on when not in use. Your fader will eventually need replacement when enough dust gets in there.

I had a pair of Mk2s that were 9 years old when I sold them. And that was 4 years ago. I still keep in touch with the dude. He says they are still good as new.
