ive *heard* that GHB sometimes will turn a drink blue.

I'm pretty sure that's only if you add some kind of additive to test for the presence of a drug in your drink. GHB is colorless and odorless, and this is why it's so easy to slip in a drink.

I feel for your friend. I just got back into town and went out to the library last night with a friend. An Iraqi or Middle Eastern guy bought me a drink and it was the 3rd i had, after about 15 minutes i felt really fucked up. I've done GHB by itself and with alcohol before and i know that ass hole slipped me sumthing. Luckily i'm not a light weight that passes out and gets raped instead i just played it off got him to give $50 bucks to get more drinks and chilled on the same New castle for a few hrs, then had him give me and my friend a lift to Joy. HAHAHA

There are probably a few cobalt compounds that would decompose into cobalt salts in the presence of butrate compounds. This would turn a drink blue, but you wouldn't want to drink it either way.
