by artifical, I mean a group that is made, because they will be a certain way, and make and perform a certain kind of music as opposed to a group of people that formed with each other naturally.

it obviously floats someon's boat so there's not much that can be done about them. besides, it's not hard to lie in interviews or press releases. i do it all the time

i dont think its SOO bad. its pretty much the same as putting an add in the local classifieds for a guitarist. all of the members of these groups have some talent. otherwise they wouldnt be a member.
you dont have to like the music, just understand its finding talent, just on a national level instead of a city level.

i do thinks its ridiculous for bands to go on city tours to find drummers, guitarists etc... are they really looking or is it promo work?

limp bizkit sucks, but it's fred durst's fault. anything he does sucks, so it follows that touring guitarist searches suck, even if only by association.
