or, MAYBE... eventually they take all the engineers in a room and tell them the truth... and at the same time they implant a chip into the back of their neck, and if they ever tell they DIE.

ok I'm done.

Yes, and perhaps that is done by nazi chupacabras that fly in black helicopters traveling the world making sure hot dogs come in packs of 12 and buns in packs of 8.

=)

i always get hotdogs in packages of 10... am i getting ripped off?

First off, let's look at your "source" of information. ACE. Did you even read to find out where your readings were even being fucking taken? ACE = Advanced Composistion Explorer. It's 99/100ths of the WAY TO THE SUN FROM EARTH, POINTED AT THE SUN!
Yes, I did read the website. The vantage point is actually 1/100th of the way to the sun, and even that point is estimated.
http://sd-www.jhuapl.edu/ACE/ACE_FactSheet.html

"From a vantage point approximately 1/100 of the distance from the Earth to the Sun ACE will perform measurements"

I read "1/100 of the distance of Earth from the Sun" or something. Ooops.

Solar Winds are just ions and stuff expulsed from the Sun in Solar Flares and what not. It's probably looking at the corona or the surface of the Sun. Space is cold, not hot, and unless radiation is hitting an object, there is no ambient warmth in space. The fact that Voyager, Galileo and the like have contact with the Sun's radiation (solar powered) dismissing the theory they could always been in a shadow away from Solar Winds.

What the hell are those pigs doing in the pictures? Were they added by the skeptics?

I am so confused right now.

right... ions being protons moving at rates fast enough to start a nuclear reaction.

The only way I could see avoiding them would be using a strong magnetic field to repel them. I wonder if that's how they did it.

My problem with the whole moon landing is why haven't we gone back. It's been over 40 years and technology has exploded. WTF??
And if we didn't go to the moon, what happened to all the money spent on it?

good question. There aint shit there so why did we go in the first place if we did go?
All they did is answer the presidents request to put a man on the moon by the end of the decade four decades ago.
Whether or not the science to pull it off was around in the 60 I'm not going to question. I will question however the integrity of those responsible for making it happen. It would have been too easy for them to funnel money in strategic directions while the whole time the cleavers are watching in amazement an enactment in front of their monochrome cathode ray tubes.
I'm not saying that this is what happened, but it would be out of character for a high ranking official to do otherwise.

We went because of the space race. It was important for us to have a first in space over the Soviets.

Everything?

In 1958 we launched the worlds first communications satelight on top of an Atlas rocket.

in 59 our pioneer satelite was the first to reach escape velocity.

Also in 59 Explorer V11 was launched and it become the worlds first satelite used for world observation

in 60 we launched TIROS, the worlds first weather satelite.

in 66 Lunar Orbiter 1 was the first in the world to take pictures of the earth from the moon.

Also in 66 Gemini-8 completed the world's first manual docking with Agena 8

in 68 Apollo 8 completed the world's first trans-lunar flight and orbit of the Moon

in 71 NASA launched Pioneer 10 the first spacecraft to reach the outer planets

I'm sure there was more after that. I mainly stay in the heavy crisis years. My point being, "everything" was an not quite the right word. They did beat us at many important milestones but not at everything, and definatly not in the long run.

If they found uranium on the moon we'd be all about going back. Fact of the matter is though, its a rock, a lifeless, barron, ROCK. Not much interest there.

you guys who think the moon landing was a hoax are fucking idiots.

here you are contemplating about solar winds and orbits that you don't even BEGIN to have a clue about.

Don't you think you ought to be an EXPERT on the topic at hand before you start claiming that an entire government and hundreds or workers, astronauts, and scientists are all lying to you?

Most of the moon hoax drama started when some people looked at some photographs and imagined that they didn't make any sense. A simple experiment with a lamp and some dolls will show that all the lighting effects seen in the pictures is perfectly normal. If you are too lazy to do this yourself I can provide a link to a young man who wasn't lazy and did the work for you.

Further evidence of the moon landing is provided by a radio reflective plate they left. You can acquire the location that nasa put this plate, and literally fire a signal up at the moon and see if it comes back. At least one moan hoax theorists actually did this to try and call NASA's bluff. But of course the signal DID some back just like it should.

With regard to the solar wind and its 'temperature'

This is a complicated issue since temperature normally involves the rate at which particals of the gas you are in move around. In space there are very few particles at all since its a vaccum. I believe though that if you face the sun for too long, you will indeed get quite hot. Anything facing away from the sun quite cold.

This is why the moon capsule spun constantly
