As some of you know, I went to Htown last weekend for my grandma's (on my dads side) wake and funeral. On my birthday no less.
Well, unfortunately, I just got a call from my best friend Danny in Htown this afternoon.
An elderly couple I use to spend time with and help take care of, while i was in Houston for close to 2 years, past away today.
She was the sweetest lady, and her poor husband is gonna be left all alone now. She was 10 years older and i get the feeling he wont last much longer now that she's gone.
Suxors.
I really cared about them. I took ole Georgie (he's about 70 something) to his first MLB baseball game last year,
I'd come by and mow their lawn when i had the time.
All that good stuff. She was like a 3rd Grandma.
From what Ive heard the service will be on Sunday,
so i should still be able to do MHTP6,
and either leave late late Saturday or Sunday morning.
Or send flowers. which seems pretty weak.
I could go next weekend and pay my respects to my grandma and her then but yeah, i feel bad if i were to miss it.
Ive been down to Htown 4 weekends out of the past 6.
I dont even mind the drive
Its driving alone that sucks
but i was just recently blessed with a new car so im pretty sure i'll go
but anyways, back to Ms. Patricia
God bless her heart,
