I like the way the War/Politics forum has siphoned off the specific current-events related talk into a manageable realm. General D isn't cluttered with specific discussion any more, and the Debate Forum can exclusively deal with debates and not politik.

I then propose that we rename and extend the War/Politics forum to the Current Events/Politics Forum. This is separate from general discussion, as GD can now take on less controversial, more blaise topics that don't require extensive modding. This is also separate from Debate in that most topics in debate revolve around a question and not just a discussion of what's going on.

Could work, getting a lot of forums however now...

Look how many forums HARDOCP has..or ARS.. TBn is growing, expansion is nessasary.

The reason the war forum is in place is because it had enough posts to get it's own home. Current events are always discussed in GD, but no one topic will have an overwhelming number of posts like the war did, which is why I suggested the war forum was a temporary forum. I ahve to go, more later.
