if you're into unique remixes check out the verve records remixed compilation.
it's a bunch of old jazz tracks remixed by some excellent dance producers, masters at work just to name one.
the only way i can describe the style is it's very fatboy slimish, big beat, there are a few tracks that have a very solid 4/4 beat, some with an excellent breakbeat, and some with just some good solid drums.
a lot of stand up bass (i forgot what those damn things are called, not a cello, but the other one, i'm musically stupid).
anyway, just thought i'd recommend that, as a house dj i plan on using some of it in the near future during some of my mixes, i highly recommend it
