this used to sound stupid to me , but some british freinds of mine have turned me on to the "spleef". half tobacco, half weed, rolled up into one cig. it sounds stupid and even sacreligious to alot of stoners here in america, but over there, its commonplace. i personally have become fond of it.

my question : what are the chemical interactions that take place between the 2 compounds when burned in a mixture? anything aside from what is there allready? i know it makes the buzz alot different.

blunts seem a bit different... the mixture has a different feel to it than str8 buds rolled into a tobacco wrap. also , swicher, phillys, and all those cheap cigars you buy at the gas stations dont use actuall tobacco in the paper. its pretty much flavored cardboard.

I used to make disposable water pipes from plastic soda bottles. I would use a soldering iron to make two holes in the front. A 'bendy' straw was placed in the top hole, and sealed with candle wax. I would then take a regular cigarette, and pull 1/2 to 3/4 of the tobacco out. I would then mix a little pot 50/50 with the tobacco, and repack the cigartte. Then I would use my teeth to pull the filter out of the cigarette and place it over the straw. with an inch or two of water in the bottle, I'd lite it up and take the whole thing down in 3 or 4 drags. The initial effects of the tobacco are enough to make a regular smoker dizzy, and the the stone kicks in and it is quite a bit different. It's more of the 'in the clouds' feeling and less of the couch potatoe effect.

There are two situations that I would find it ok to mix tobacco with ganja.

A. You smoke shitty as schwagards and it taste like shit alone ne wayz. This is why I try and limit my self to smoking schawg out of blunts. Smoking schwag out of a bong or a pipe blows. I do it cause im a uber big pot head that would die before passing up the chance to smoke ne thing. Schwag from a bong or a pipe taste like death. It taste like you broke your wall open took out some installation and loaded it on up in the pipe.

B. If your going to a public place and you wanna smoke. Ive done this before with one of those machines that rolls you prefect stogs taht look like store bought cigs. Use a little dank and a pit of tobacco and you have yourself a state of the art stealth joint.

but otherwise european wankers can do that shit all they want. Damn only fools from Holland would have the best buds in the world and roll it up with tobacco. thats like going to a pimp ass restraunt. Ordering the most expensive item on the menu and then asking for some heinz kectchup to put on it.

idunno man, after further research im finding that the tobacco mixture is really the way of the world. ..but to each their own.

i've found the tobacco helps the spliff burn better and have less runs. it's also easier to hand roll with the tobacco/dank mix if you happen to have some really sticky stuff.
