lately I've been making downtempo and dnb, fairly easily...it's the techno I'm having trouble with; good techno is hard to make....

funny how many times I've heard u say how easy drum n bass is to make lately, while I half-ass agree with you I think the point is wether its good or not, and I really dont get how techno is so much harder really.....to each his own I guess-

two words....layering and filtering; I must've listened to about forty dnb tracks last week from all sorts of artists (thanks to my friend, wanting to bore the shit out of me)....about 3 of them had variations in filtering.

I know I've said before that I'd post tracks, and indeed I shall (most likely this week). My computer is dead, so I'm having to use my friend's comp to put tracks on, and I have two on there; just need to encode to mp3 and upload
