The new Live is awesomeness!!! :slayer: I'm working through it right now and I'll be writing a review for JIVE for it this month. I'll let you know when I get it up.

Oh yeah I'm joining Sasha and Zabeila in the digital revolution. I need no vinyl or turntables!

yeah.. i was working with Live last week, djing with it.. seems like cheating. Ok so you can add fx and mix 5 songs at one time... id much prefer to do it via sucky final scratch.. theres some excitement to hear your records going out of sync and busting ass trying to get it back on.

there are some of us... very few, but some of us, who like to use live in conjunction with hardware and a large DAW to produce music on the fly... not DJ, which is completely obsolete :slayer2:

actually if you want to hear something that will make you even more sick, there was a discussion on a producers forum about how a number of the big names who have their legions of personal producers are having them make tracks all at the same bpm, e.g. an entire cd collection of tracks @ 132.00 bpm so they don't have to make any adjustments live. nimrods.

Eh I've taken it even a step farther and started a band using live as a sampler / synth / beatbox in conjunction with live vocals, keyboards, guitars, and scratching. I'll let you guys know when we get something together, its more in the development stage right now and I'm still looking for a few key players.

It wasn't necessarly lazy I just got bored with DJ'ing.
