Just saw Charlie Wilson's War. My only real complaint was the stock footage they used showing supposed Soviet aircraft shootdowns was in reality of American planes being shot down, i.e. F-16s, A-6 Intruders, and Hueys, which were never used by the Soviets in Afghanistan. A little nitpicky I know. Other than that, I enjoyed the movie.

Next on my list is The Orphanage.

What's Disturbia about? The Orphanage is top on my list to see. National Treasure 2 is also.

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay is pushing for a April 25th release from what I hear. I think I might wait for Directors cut though instead of seeing it in the theaters.

The Orphanage is AWESOME. Got to see it at one of the film fests earlier this year & I loved it!

Oh Disturbia. Yah I didn't like that movie from the previews. That kid was a good actor for Transformers but I don't know about that movie.

Isn't that the plot for the new one, like they're on their way to A-dam but end up in Gitmo?

If anyone enjoyed Ellen Page's performance in Juno...check out Hard Candy for a change of pace.

It's slightly demented but I liked it.

"Follows the cross-country adventures of the pot-smoking duo as they try to outrun authorities who suspect them of being terrorists when they try to sneak a bong on board their flight to Amsterdam."

Go to Amsterdam was a working title but not the actual title. As far as I know.

I bought that along with requiem for a dream.
then proceeded to watch them back to back.
I felt like a druggie schizo for a couple hours after that.

movies i've watched over the past few days:

the condemned: stay far away, this movie was produced by WWE or something and is not very good at all. i only watched it cause i was bored.

the hunting party: good, check it out

sunshine: good, but definitely see all the people hating cause of the similarities to event horizon.

event horizon: sunshine made me want to watch it again, hadn't seen it in a couple years, good shit.

wet hot american summer: first time seeing it, good flick

no country for old men: good movie

the ten: hilarious

resident evil extinction: i love the resident evil movies but i fell asleep the first two times trying to watch it.

thats all i can think of off the top of my head.
