Immigration happens everywhere in the world. Legal or Illegal. Some to escape slavery, make better lives, gain wealth, fame, fortune, etc. Of course in the course of immigration comes legal issues and police involvement problems. In your own opinions, where do you stand on immigration? How do you think Congress should take care of the problems with immigration? Explain in your own words.

P.S. This isn't a writing assignment I have for finals, but it is a topic we have been talking about all semester.

There's a valid due process to immigrate into the United States. I don't give a shit if you want to come here to work and make this place better. Who am I to stop you? Wasn't that the point of this nation?

Though to be honest, I failed the immigration test. :(

I would be in favor of due processes if they were accessible to everyone.

I wouldn't say that I stand on either side of the fence, but the fact of the matter is that it's so fundamental to the economic/political/media posture between the US and Mexico that you could almost consider it a force of nature. Unless deep-rooted ideas begin to change in the way US companies and even the government treats anything that is south of the Rio Grande, then we are going to receive refugees. Even if we built a 50 ft. fence from Brownsville to San Diego it would not change the situation. They will find a way under, over, or around it.
