and it sounds damn fine comin through this delta 1010lt sound card.

I never realized how much actual difference a studio grade d/a convertor sounded, holy shit. I was missing a lot coming through that crappy SB card.

I thought I was crazy going over to friends houses with studio cards... I thought maybe my monitors just didn't have a high grade enough sound to represent some things I wasn't hearing... heh turns out it was just my sound card.

I've got it the other way around: a great FireWire interface but no speakers to do it justice. Saving up for a decent pair of monitors.
