by fucking over your dept.

planning a new building to hold the 200-300 employees our SA office is expected to grow to in the next 2-5 years (we're at 70 now). let's see how badly a company run by salesmen can fuck over the IT infrastructure that allows them to sell their products and make their money (they always fail to make that connection).

1. they've bought land that isn't serviced by SBC, instead it's serviced by a shitty local cooperative
2. sales and marketing are so caught up on having huge offices, conference rooms and being able to expand to house more sales people that the only place they can build a set of restrooms is on a wall adjacent to OUR SERVER ROOM. great...water right next to what makes this company run.
3. they keep decreasing the size of our server/equipment room and IT offices (as it goes I'm going to be sharing a 14X14 space with 2-3 other IT guys now)

mannn... i've seen enough companies fuck themselves over and run themselves into chap 7 or 11, that i just consider it standard practice.

business get greedy and forget what they really need, and company politics fuck everything up.

i'm through with caring about corporations - give me the paycheck and piss off...

ill demoralize the people until they agree to be chopped, so we wont have to waste money on restraining equipment. Im pretty good at making people feel like shit apparently.
