I'm still undecided on GM foods, but I'm leaning toward organic because if we CAN grow foods without pesticide/herbicide, then we should do so. Volume might have been a problem originally, but technology has caught up so we should just grow the stuff hydroponically in high density greenhouses.

I think Monsanto and other companies are going way too far out of their way to ensure their world domination, but that's a bit of a different issue. Monsanto also produces agent orange, many other pesticides and plastics related to carpet/flooring. Is that who I want growing my food? No.

Starving people = bad.

Nutritional food that does not poison us = good.

EOS.

I'm not saying that GM foods are all gravy, because I'm still out as to whether some modified compounds might or might not be harmful for us.

I'm a hippie. I buy only organically grown vegetables. They're pricier but I get some comfort and satisfaction from it.

Bad=some of the compounds might be harmful to us and would not show symptoms until years from now
Good=Increasing the plant's yield or adaptation to survive in snow, desert, or other not good habitable conditions. It would greatly benefit third world countries if the GM companies weren't so damn twisted and money hungry.

Since I work at Whole Foods I think that I'm required to hate GMO's. It seems a bit screwy that producers of genetically modified foods don't put it on the labels. So, unless the label is specific, you don't really know just what you're eating.
But then again, what the hell is broccoflower, for example? It's a man made hybrid of cauliflower and broccoli. Does that count as genetically modified? One wonders. It seems that it would depend on how the food has been modified to determine if it's harmfull or not.

But don't get me started on the whole iradiation issue... it's all a crock of shit.

That game was based on one of the most awesome movies ever, fully deserving of the sequel it got, as well as the long running 6:30 A.M. slot on ABC's Saturday Morning Cartoon lineup.

why not go one step further and simply clone them at a mass rate?
