I think it would be an amazing resource to have reviews from the people within this community. There are alot of people here that have used a wide range of gear. Whether it be DJ gear, computers (or parts thereof), software, or in my case PA gear that we don't use it in quite the same way as most others.
For instance, most PAs are cut off below around 40 Hz for various reasons including that most music doesn't reach below 40 Hz. This just isn't true for much of electronic music and we demand thundering lows that put the idea of "brown noise" to the test.
I have had alot of trial and error with gear that doesn't live up to my standards as I'm sure most everyone here has so I think it would be wise to pool our collective knowledge and stop wasting time and money on things that aren't going to do what you expect.
