YEa Kurt are you hating on AMD?:silly:
First off. I used to work for AMD and currently work for their arch nemises INtel. So i know semiconductors and the physics behind them. I have not watched this video but based off your remarks it sounds physically impossible for a chip to explode. So chips are made of three main components (for those who don't know) which are glass, metal, and di-electrics (thats the semi part of the conductor). If you superheat a chip by brown's gas or electric current or flint and grass it will not expolde nor would the packaging the actual chip comes in. I believe the most they could do is burn like a fuze and blacken.
hating on amd?
no.. we are about to order 20+ servers with amd chips in them.
i'm about to buy an am2 shuttle case barebones system when they come out.
after reviewing the video, you can see the drill marks in the desk where they drilled out the hole. so yea... fake. fun none the less.
