on my DX-500 the cross fader is rock solid, a really long throw....but rock solid

this new mixer looks (havent used one yet) like a shorter throw

i was considering a model down to the VMX-200 as a beginner and shit. Havent seen them at the stores though. just online. does anyone have feedback on them?

Davey...I may be getting either the DX-1000 or the VMX-300...if you want, I'll sell you my DX-500 (3 channels, XLR outs, 12 second digital sampler, etc) for cheap...the only problem with it, the line ins are messed up, but Prizm is going to have that fixed.
