I may never get to see Pink Floyd, but after hearing these guys at the Majestic Theater that loud, it doesn't bother me that much anymore. I'm definitely going to see them again. It was fucking awesome.

phish covered the whole dark side live. there's a recording floating around. definitely recommend it if you are into that album

yes, that was the first half of the show. There was a 15 min intermission, another hour or so of music, and then an encore.

Their singer sucks at singing imo.

i agree the singer for phish (trey anastasio) does not have a good voice. his lyrics are really fucking good though. he doesnt pretend to have a good voice though. actually in their cover of dark side, he basically takes the piss out of himself for having a shitty voice when attempting clare torry's vocals on the great gig in the sky.

yall can hate them, but my guess is this is either because you a) havent given them enough chance, or b) dont 'get' their music. they are a truly talented group of musicians. there is a reason they had a massive cult following.

I dated a total eclectic granola chick who was into Phish. I dig the way they play and whatnot, I just can't stand dude's voice. I could listen for awhile but I think 20 minutes was my max. It's the same with Neil Young, great musician and songwriter, horrible singer.
