I’ve been able to set aside the time necessary to give the site the attention it deserves and will be making regular improvements and additions to the site.For this update, I’ve added some new functionality that I’m really excited about: the GlobalBeatz.net Social Network, just like MySpace or Facebook (which I know you all love and need every.single.day). You’ll be able to add friends, upload pictures, meet new party kids, add your events, and most importantly, show your parents how well you behave “out in the real world.”

I’ve also updated the GlobalBeatz.net Messageboard to the newest version, which I’m stoked to see how well it performs. I’ve added the GlobalBeatz.net Blog to keep in regular touch with everyone about news with the site.

I’ve got a couple of other major updates to the site that I’ve been working on and expect to be launched in the next 2-4 weeks, so keep an eye out.

I wanted to launch all of this as perfectly as possible for you all. But then I realized that I can’t possibly know all of the things that you’ll hope to get out of the site. For that reason, I’d love to hear your feedback, positive, negative, neutral, constructive, whatever. I want to hear about bugs, designs, functionality you want, anything and everything.

Finally, since I’m fantastically and amazingly incompetent at making things look pretty, if there are any designers out there who have some ideas and can/will do some mockups for the site, I’d love to see them. I’ve been able to get/put together a template that is pretty flexible if a new design can keep the same general layout (header, right sidebar, body, footer) and I can splice a design and turn it into code, no problem. I’m definitely not attached to the design, but what’s up was the best design to re-launch quickly.
